1. Commercial Operations Marketing Technologist, MRS Greater China/市场部营销科技专员,自然科研大中华区


Working Location: Shanghai


This position is to evaluate emerging technologies, provide ad tech support for all new digital ad initiatives (including social media initiatives) and manage projects in line with commercial objectives, aimed at aligning with our goals on customer engagement in China. This position will also support commercial revenue through setup, delivery and optimization of digital ad campaigns for commercial projects, by utilizing both global and local data management platform and marketing automation systems where available.


We expect you:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience; Work experience in project management capacity; Excellent English communication skills (business level); Excellent in XML/HTML/XHMTL/CSS; Proficient in use of web analytics applications (Google Analytics, Webtrends, Omniture, Coremetrics etc.); Basic SQL skills (querying, performance optimisation, stored procedures & views); Proficient in Photoshop/Sketch and Illustrator; A strong understanding of web technologies and principals include responsive design, SEO, PPC and knowledge of ad serving systems i.e. Google ad manager/ Revive; Experience of working with advertising creative; Previous experience of working with digital marketing tools and marketing automation; Related experience in working in technology focussed business; Can handle projects independently; Can debug/troubleshoot issues on the website as they arise.


2. Account Manager, Training and Editing Services / 销售经理, 培训和编辑服务


Working Location: Shanghai


This position is to classify advertising sales to clients based in Shanghai China. Selling print and digital options across all Nature Research journals and across Nature.com, as well as NatureCareers Live expo and more talent recruitment-oriented solutions.


We expect you:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with prospecting and cold calling; excellent phone manner and high level of customer service; strong organizational skills; ability to cope under pressure; good knowledge of general office computer software (including MS Office), client oriented and pro-active sales approach.


3. Associate Editor, Partnership & Custom Media


Working Location: Shanghai


This position is to join our world-class operations to deliver custom and branded content projects in print and online. As a division of Nature Research, the custom media team helps researchers and institutions tell their stories on the global stage, especially to Nature and Scientific American audiences. Its communication solutions, with exemplary science writing, design and multimedia content, help organizations achieve their key strategic goals. The new hire will play an important role in connecting Springer Nature’s partnership organizations in China with our international audiences, promoting our clients, and communicating with readers about science.


We expect you:

An interest in science and science journalism, with at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field; Strong writing and editing skills in English and Mandarin; Experience working in media (print or online), scientific publishing, or conducting content marketing/digital marketing for research institutions preferred; Understanding of the international research ecosystem, the Chinese scientific landscape and the opportunities and challenges for Chinese researchers desirable; Proven mastery of Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, as well as typesetting software applications, such as Adobe InDesign

4. Product Manager / 产品经理


Working Location: Shanghai


This position is to provide product management for www.natuerchina.com, support for MRS products in China and internationalization starting in PPG Focus area platform fundamentals.


We expect you:

Able to use a range of product management principles and approaches; Able to apply Lean & Agile methodologies and mindset to all aspects of work; Able to leverage stakeholders’ experience, expertise and perspectives, and to work with and challenge stakeholders appropriately. Able to understand and work constructively within the given constraints, but also to identify which constraints can be challenged and how to challenge them effectively. 


5. Asia Regional Marketing Manager, Macmillan Education


Working Location: Shanghai


This position is to Leading Macmillan Education product marketing and campaigns in Asia by planning and executing effective marketing via traditional and digital channels of communication with customers, both external (decision makers/teachers) and internal (Asia sales teams). This role manages all aspects of campaigns and product marketing from regional level and will represent Asia in global marketing campaigns group. The role also line manages regional and local marketing team.


We expect you:

University degree or above, with major in marketing, education, English preferred; 5+ years’ of progressive marketing experience including product marketing and content marketing, experience in digital marketing is a plus; B2B marketing experience preferred; Knowledge of English Language Teaching market or general education market preferred, experience of teaching or training not required but is a plus; Asia (particularly China/SEA) marketing experience an asset; Team management expertise preferred


6. Business Development Manager, Greater China, Macmillan Education


Working Location: Beijing


This position is to support and further expand our presence in Greater China, bringing pedagogical expertise to design and execution of high quality academic consultancy and business development in the region, especially to work with sales and marketing team to win new accounts and new adoptions. Academic background is a must for this role.


We expect you:

Bilingual (native Mandarin Chinese, and good English); Bachelor's Degree or above; An internationally recognized ELT related professional qualification, preferably at a Diploma or Master’s level; A minimum of 5 years ELT/curriculum teaching/teacher training experience, including teaching/trainer experience in Greater China (across age groups and environments); Experience of design curriculum and provide academic support, in bilingual of Chinese and English, for local schools in ELT.


7.Assistant Key Account Manager, ELT & International Curriculum


Working Location: Beijing


This position is to Accelerate Macmillan ELT & International Curriculum business growth in China by effectively developing and managing key institutional customers to increase market share and maximize sales outcome of Macmillan products and services.


We expect you:

Bachelor/Master degree; Over 5-year sales & marketing experience in the educational market is desirable; Solid understanding of ELT & international curriculum and marketing trends is desirable;

Track record of successfully identifying business opportunities and delivering results is essential; Evidence of success in building and maintaining sustainable relationship leading to commercial opportunity with internal and external stakeholders is essential; Ability to communicate & present professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences, in both fluent mandarin Chinese and English is essential; Influencing skills and the ability to convince through personal credibility is essential; Ability to gain and assimilate product knowledge and attain a thorough knowledge of the marketplace is essential; Demonstrable evidence of goal/target-oriented, self-motivated, independent decision-making and team working is essential;
